Title: Mike was right
Post by: John Junk 2.0 on December 21, 2008, 12:31:43 AM
The between-song banter (or "rap"'s as the packaging calls them) on this new "Sugar Mountain" is really bad.  Definite case to be made for a dumb Neil Young if this is allowed as evidence.  Two things, however: I think he was like 22 or 23 when this was recorded, and he was smart enough to put them on their own tracks so you can just skip or un-check them on your iTunes.

I do appreciate his explanation of D-modal tuning.

Mike was also right that Tom should dedicate a show to talking about the Jonestown massacre.  And that Stroszek is hilarious.

Is this a thing now? If so -

Mike was right: A hammer really would be best to use on an intruder in close quarters. It's dual purpose and wieldy.
