One of my best good friends is engaged and we're having the bachelor's party at the Kentucky Derby.  I need to pick out a Panama hat and some good binoculars.

I like Ben Gibbard.

I have a crush on Zooey.

I wish she would stick to acting.  I know she can sing well, but she's turning into one of those celebs that try to do everything.

It reminds me of Patton Oswalt's bit about how being in love is the worst thing for a comedian; same true for musicians? Maybe Mr. Gibbard will launch the world's happiest album for 2009. We could use it.
