Hi guys,
You may remember me as Matt from Gowanus, who called once to complain about Indiana Jones IV this summer and who called even farther back to say that "Two And A Half Men" would work better as a cereal commercial.
I hope this isn't against the forum rules, but I am trying to find a responsible home for a car I no longer need, and I just thought I'd ask a community I trusted.
Here is the ad:

Someday soon, I plan on doing something more FOT Forum appropriate like a thread where people post pictures of their Best Show schwag in action (poster on the wall, shirt on the person, etc.).
For now, there's this.
Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! If I am tarnishing the general discussion section with a solicitation!

Bless you (at the very least) for keeping this thread alive!

Darn! If only you'd waited another 30 minutes I would've offered you 10 bucks and I'd have bought you lunch. A nice lunch. Like the Olive Garden or something. We'd get salad and bread sticks and then split a pasta dish of some sort.
Unfortunately though I'm busy paying off my own midsized family sedan. The sad part is I don't even have a family.

Man, Diane Arbus Photo guy, next to Panera Bread, the Olive Garden is my favorite chain.
Your Sedan story is an Onion headline waiting to happen.
Sale or no sale, this thread is paying emotional dividends.

It's all to real, Matthew. All to real.

Good luck selling the car though. Where are you moving to?

I think the Fit is kind of cute, but then again, I am susceptible to youth-targeted advertising.

I want a toyota sequoyah. anyone got an 08 model or newer for sale? I'm offering $15

SCAM WARNING: If this man tries to give you $15 bucks via wire or money order, it may be fraud. If respondents offer to buy lunch at the Olive Garden, do not let them leave for the bathroom before paying.

I just need your account number and bank routing number so that I can transfer the funds to your account.

On that note: The brochure that came with it had an 18 to 25-year-old girl driving with her pet llama in the back seat ... I'll see if I can find it.
-
I actually already have a 2007 Honda Fit. That is our family's one and only car.
But if someone is actually considering Matthew's offer and is on the fence, let me say that we are thrilled with the Fit so far.

Is there enough room under the hood for an LS-1 swap?

It's a 4-Cyl. 1.5L VTEC engine, if that helps answer that any.
I would assume that since they are both 4 cylinder engines, it's not impossible.
(BTWs, I'm not sure if I am making myself look foolish by taking this question at face value.)
I found an older version of my craigslist ad that is a little more detailed:

This made me laugh.

My bad: it's an alpaca.

Lucky for us, I did not have to resort to scanning my brochure for—at least—one of these images.
The image with the alpaca being driven around by a hip, ambiguously ethnic 18 to 25-year-old girl is gonna require me to have more free time

ls-1 is far from a 4 cylinder.
-
forget the LS-1.
replace the engine with the alpaca. done.
-
that ls-1 is more than 4 times larger than the stock motor, with regard to displacement.
that swap would get you roughly 308 additional horsepower.

I am thankful my NASCAR dad doesn't read this forum.
