Dear Tom,
I'm going to SXSW film fest.  I would like to offer to give a report upon my return.  I'll be in the air on my way home during next week's show but could give my report the following week.
I will be seeing THE SNAKE on Friday night, if that entices you. It's almost guaranteed that I'll be hanging out with some mumblecore superstars also.  I know how you love the genre so.
Let me know. A flat out "no thank you" would not hurt my fragile feelings.

I thought u were giving me the business for plugging cuz I have a short in the midnight shorts. I'll be going to that and the animated shorts. Which ones did u work on and what did u do?

I didn't know that you had a short. That's cool. Really wish I could be there. I edited two shorts that are showing and was on-set moral support for another.

Producer/Writer/Actor.  Don't make a big thing out of it. I put my pants on both legs at a time just like anyone else.  And for the last gd time, WHAT ARE THE SHORTS YOU EDITED CALLED????? I want to check them out if I can!

Any Austin FOTs who want to come out to the Alamo Ritz 2 at 11pm on Saturday, the 14th or Monday the 16th, I'll be there with my short in the Midnight Shorts program.
