Title: Captain Jack vs. Kid Kansas
Post by: buffcoat on April 15, 2009, 02:29:37 PM
From my early Newbridgctionary Notes:

Feb 18, 2003: Kid Kansas vs. Capt. Jack (1:45)

This one's for you, TRL.

You should start listening at 1:44 - a woman yells at Tom to play more music and Tom threatens to push the show into the Party Zone.

I've been listening to the late 2004 shows and twice Tom uses Captain Jack's real first name, once in a conversation with him and once in a conversation with perhaps the show's worst caller ever, Captain Jack's Barnacle Blues Band (mate) Somali/Tsunami Tommy.

Just for fun, here's Tsunami Tommy:

The late 2004 / early 2005 eps really are a treasure trove of information about someone that no one would ever want to know about.
