Clearly since in our timeline he does come back (ostensibly to warn our Petey about Tom Scharplings demise) Petey will be there and ready to take care of the threat whatever it is.

It's a good thing that Petey is so alert and all. And you know calls in all the time. And...

Now I'm scared.
