Rep. Joe Barton (R. - TX), is the highest ranking Republican on congress's energy committee. He asked this mind-numbingly stupid question to Dr. Steven Chu, the Nobel-prize winning Energy Secretary of the Obama Administration. Dr. Chu laughs and takes congress back to fifth grade to explain plate tectonics. Then, thinking he had really zung (!) Dr. Chu, Rep. Barton posts the video to his YouTube account and disables comments so no one can tell him how stupid he is.
One more time now: this man is on the Energy & Commerce Committee.

Well, there is that pinheaded recent Texas secession murmur to which Gov. Rick Perry recently lent his almost-support. That would take care of Joe Barton, right? Except that it's idle idiotic blather.
