Title: Varmints
Post by: Bryan on May 04, 2009, 01:32:16 PM
I'm 75% sure I've got a groundhog living under my kitchen. It's driving my dog crazy. But besides that, should I be worried about it? Is it going to cause any damage?

(I own the house, and in fact am getting it ready to sell. It has only a crawlspace, no basement, so conceivably the critter could have the run of the whole crawlspace.)

I submit this to the FOT brain trust!

I think groundhogs are fairly docile but they can carry rabies and digging under your house could mess up the foundation.  I would call a varmint/pest control company to capture and release the animal in the woods.
