It's called The Limits of Control, but it should be called The Absolute Limits of My Patience. What a steaming pretentious boring turd. I am cured of my adoration for Jim Jarmusch.
-
I'm having a very hard time believing that Jim Jarmusch made a film that is both boring and pretentious.
-
I detect sarcasm.
-
I'm usually willing to give Jarmusch the benefit of the doubt, but so far I have yet to hear anything positive about this movie. The Jarmusch movie with Bill Murray wasn't so great either. Between that and "Lost in Translation", I've lost patience with Bill Murray hitting us over the head with the fact that he's not "wacky" anymore. Okay, we get it Bill. Now go make something that's fun to watch.
(But I did enjoy Murray's bit with the Wu-Tang guys in Coffee and Cigarettes).

I hear that Dan Aykroyd is going to be in an upcoming Béla Tarr film.

I'm sure we're only missing out on the next Man Who Knew Too Little, not the next Stripes.

I fudging love the Man Who Knew Too Little. In all seriousness. I think it's hilarious.

I love Broken Flowers for the very same reason.

If you are interested in a shitty movie you should check out Choke. I'm actively campaigning against that movie. You'll want to kick your t.v. off the coffee table.

i don't think chuck pulhalaochaonick's books translate well to film in such a naturalistic (i.e. cheap) style.
-
It took me a long time to get around to watching Choke and it's what I expected. Very average, but worth watching if you read the book. I don't think it was horrible though.

This made me Laugh Our Loud!
Can you now do the other two ghostbusters?

Ernie Hudson is taking over the starring role in The Limits of Control 2: Mo Limits

They weren't official Ghostbusters, but Rick Moranis and Annie Potts are going to be the leads in the Antichrist sequel.

Couldn't agree more. It's the dumbest but funnest movie.

I just saw the worst movie I've ever seen in my life.
Weird, me too. But it was called "Ken Park" when I saw it.

You didn't like that scene with Jimmy Ransome and Uncle Foamy?

Interesting cover image.
This was also the worst film I've ever seen when I saw it, although at that point it was going by the name "Kids."
-
Let me get this straight...you guys are saying that Larry Clark is a preverted hack?
Who knew?
-
When I was in middle school, Kids had just come out on VHS. Someone had a copy of it and it passed from person to person like it was samizdat. Good times.
I never saw it, however.
