Title: Intervention mashup
Post by: octopus volcano on May 18, 2009, 02:13:07 AM
AP Mike's Intervention quiz inspired me to look up some episodes on YouTube.  While waiting for this one to load I noticed that the music I was playing synced up with it in a wonderful, horrible way:

Original episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thxrgd26uQ4&feature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thxrgd26uQ4&feature=related)

The song is "Circles, Children & Bridges (demo)" by Kimitaka Matsumae.

Oh man I remember that episode. Jessie's really pretty, and her brother is kind of a dick.

Unlike MOST addicts, who are generally delightful.

Her brother's not the addict, Big Fella.

My guess is that some people watch Intervention because they get off on observing the worst of humanity. But if that's YOUR reason, you're missing the "dregs of society" boat if you don't climb on board Bridezillas, which was running in the background while I visited my sister last week. Seriously, you want to see the depths of depravity, spend 10 minutes with this monstrosity. I double dog dare you.

You can start with this teaser

Where do you get your music, a harbor town in a Japanese RPG?

The last line of that clip was pretty well delivered.

I enjoyed your music choice.

Best intervention episode by far is the duster episode.

You should do some music over this one next!  I'd love it.

I actually am living in a Japanese harbor town, though Aomori is of the non-RPG variety.

Kimitaka Matsumae has been doing game music since the 80s. Maybe he could do the incidental music for Intervention? It would be an improvement on some of the Mother 13 they got on there.
