Title: Plants and Gardening and Green Thumbs
Post by: erika on June 01, 2009, 12:34:08 AM
FOT's I need some help! I bought this succulent today and I'm not sure exactly what kind it is or what its needs are. I'm wondering if it can take full afternoon summer sun or if it would be better on the back porch which only gets a little morning sun. I kill every plant I get in one way or another and I'm trying to avoid that this time.  Has anyone ever had a plant that looks like this? Any tips would be appreciated! Even just the name of the plant :)

I don't know what it is, but I think succulents enjoy sunshine.

Yes, full sun. Hang it up, so it can cascade. It wants to cascade! And move it/touch it as little as possible. Those little sections fall off easily.

I've got one like that, but I've never had enough sun for it to prosper. I'm pretty sure I just killed it by putting it outside, but forgetting to bring it in overnight.
