Title: Jon Wurster Tour Diary

For anyone interested, Jon Wurster wrote a tour diary for the UK tour with AC Newman that took place last month and Magnet is posting it a day at a time. It's a very good read.

I was lucky enough to see the London show and it was really great- one of my favourite songwriters together with one of my favourite comedians. I nerdily hung around after the show and don't know if I was much better than James meeting Tom but he couldn't have been nicer. A little disappointing that I wasn't one of the highlights of his day in London, I can't believe my obvious questions and standard compliments didn't charm him to bits.

 Great read. The bit about the English guy who sat between him and Carl on the plane was hilarious.

I feel like a 100% tool for not going to the Manchester show. I have no excuse. I had money and time and wasn't feel work-tired. What a jerk.

That confirms it.  For a long time I was getting Gilly and Gibby mixed up.  Sorry, Gi__y-men.

should there be a (sic) in there or did you mess up, GFace?  That's the most annoying typing mistake that I make regularly, btw.  Nothing makes you sound more like a neanderthal than subbing you for your.

Great read. That last A.C. Newman solo album is killer. That shouldn't be a surprise, but I did like it a lot more than the last New Pornographers record.
