Cool comic of Tom's Dogmo vs. the Sprinkler story.
-
That's really sweet!
-
So sweet.
-
Awesome! thanks for posting this, it was great.
-
Aw man. Making me sad again. But thanks for posting it. It is great.
-
I thought this was going to be another Scaredy Story. :'(
-
This is really nice. The dog-facial-expressions are seriously spot on.
-
Thanks guys! I'm super relieved that people liked it - I always feel nervous adapting someone's story, like I'll get a detail wrong or draw someone with too much back hair or whatever. I couldn't have asked for a better story.
-
That was completely awesome, Mike.
I may just be a Canadadummy - but is there an archive of previous strips available there which my eye is just missing?
Nevermind, I found it.
Oh yeah... congrats on reaching your 100th strip!
-
So great. The expressions are hilarious, especially Tom cracking up in the "that's what happens!" panel.
-
This is the best and it means a lot to me to see the story live on in a different medium and to see how perfectly Mike pulled it off.
Thank you, Mike. You're a master!
Tom.

This is so awesome/sweet/poignant. You did it so well, Mike!
Thanks for posting this, todbot!

Excellent job, Mike. You captured the essence of Dogmo.
-
That was fantastic, and I'm glad I got to hear the story first, so the comic was even more resonant.
-
It is a fine memorial. I wish someone would draw comics of all my dead beasts' great moments.
-
Wonderfully heartwarming, Mike.
-
You guys are sweethearts. And I'm always looking for stories and am grateful to get them.
And thank you again, Tom - at the risk of waxing each other's cars too much, you are a titan of radio and a super nice guy to boot. It was a pleasure.
And now, let's listen to Tom chat with Ted Leo (8:26 EST).
-
I just finally got a chance to view the comic (the link wasn't working the last time I checked). I'm glad I tried again. Really terrific stuff. I love it. The last illustration, with Tom and Dogmo looking at each other and getting soaked, made me teary and happy at the same time.

This is great! Excellent job
-
Nice work Holmes.
-
That cartoon is excellent!

Hey FOTs -
So after a summer of meaning to (but failing to) get prints of the Dogmo comic together and sent out to those who would like them, I realized that it would be much easier to just email a hi-res copy to anyone who wants one, as I'm not charging for these.
If you'd like one, just send me your email address in a private message and I'll make sure you get a copy. It would be nice, in exchange, if you made a donation to a local shelter.
Also, I am going to make it down for the next Gathering of the FOTs. I like to party.
