Title: The Sonics at the Echoplex in Los Angeles in August

So, I was in Amoeba today, and my friend gave me a heart attack by asking me if I was at the Sonics reunion show at the Queen Mary recently.  Being hopelessly out of the loop, this was the first I'd heard of it, and was immediately crestfallen.  BUT, he then told me about the August date at the Echoplex, and I ran home and bought my ticket.  Reportedly, they sound amazing.  I don't know if I've ever been this excited about a show, let alone a reunion show. i will be losing my cool at this one for sure.

I believe they're called the Thunder now
