Title: Intervention
Post by: buffcoat on July 06, 2009, 09:37:11 PM
AP Mike and other Intervention watchers -

during the recent episode "Jason," about the kid from Columbine, I discovered that I disliked the mother more - far more - than any of the scummy heroin dealers and addicts that have ever been on the show.

Agree/disagree?

PS I hate her so much.

I don't remember her mom that much but I kind of tuned out during that one... maybe I'll pay closer attention the 2nd time around. I can't remember  - was she really religious? I watched an episode recently where the family was so religious and judgmental that even in the intervention, almost all the father talked about was god and consequences of sin. Instead of listening to Candy! How can you ignore Candy Finnegan?

She was addicted to Xanax (while her kid was addicted to heroin), but what she was really addicted to was attention and feeling sorry for herself.  She kept hyperventilating and talking about how unfair it was.

1) Jeff
2) Candy
3) Ken

Oh right yeah she was annoying. I know what you mean.

My BF and I pledged that if either one of us either needed an Intervention, we'd get Jeff Van V. He's my favorite.

MIKE! How is this thread not getting any traction on here. I KNOW YOU MONDAY NIGHT FREAKBALL WATCHERS ARE OUT THERE. STEP FORWARD!

Anyway... I find the hoarders on Obsessed kind of charming in a way. Maybe that's because I have a bit of a problem myself. Hmmm....

The hoarders at least have the most noble of intentions out of all Obsessed subjects - trying to hold on to happier times & lost family members. I might be AP Mike-influenced here, but even the therapist who helped clean out this week's hoarder's house has to be a little bored compared to the time she let the girl who had murderous thoughts pick out which knife to hold at her throat.

This week's contestant, Danielle, and her family were the very worst of them all.  Congratulations, Canada!
