Listening to "Gargoyla Gets Kicked Off the FOT Message Board" on the iPod tonight, I thought about how small the fanbase was at that point - it must have felt like about 15 people.  I wasn't even posting then - who was?  Sarah, were even you there then?

Now it's to the point where someone new can say that "Chicago's a big Best Show city" and we believe it, because of course it is.


Pretty cool.

I think I was registered before that as "JSizzler."   I changed it so I could be more easily confused with other fans  :-\   Also, KKJ = Bruce.    

I think most of the old posters fell in with the LaRouche crowd.

I'm still around, but much less frequently.  I've been on each incarnation of this board.

Beyond life busy-ness, I'm about a year behind on the podcasts *sigh*

i was a message board creep before ever actually signing on.  also, at the time i got into the show, life didnt leave enough time to read and post.

I get the feeling that F. Ricks just reads one random entry and then posts based on that, ignoring all other context, subtext and, indeed, text.  It gives a more "haven't been there, haven't done that" kick to his stylee.



And FreddyRicky, "maudlin" would be "oh, lordy me, where have all the good posters gone?  What's with this lot now."



I think it's clear to everyone that I am in great favor of the new Vini/PJ board leadership!

Precisely what I failed to get across was the following question:  What inspired you to dig through your old gmail account?  I thought you were searching for the good old posters.
Regarding Vini/PJ leadership: Was there an election?  Did I miss it?

I was quite tired having returned from a multiple day, computer free vacation.

I was intimidated by how far behind I had fallen and perhaps  didn't read as closely as I should have.
