I'm wondering, do youse guys think is Entourage worth watching? I've avoided it because I can't take that Piven, but perhaps that's too dismissive.

well, if you don't like Piven, you probably won't like entourage because he's the best (nearly only good) part.

 Watch an episode. If you like it, you'll like the rest, because every episode is pretty much the same.

That sounded like I was dissing it.  I'm not. I like it. Never miss an episode. but I won't go so far as to say it's good.  Rex Lee is also very good in it.  I've known him for a long time and was super happy for him when his character took off like it did.

I watched the first few seasons of Entourage (back when I was an HBO subscriber) and you are correct. Jeremy Piven is great. The rest of the cast, not so much. Although, I do like Jerry Ferrara

But it's not a bad show at all. It's just not a great show.

I think Dave Holmes summarized the show quite well.

If you're looking for a television show with any substance or depth, then Entourage isn't the show for you.

During preview, creator-mastermind Doug Ellin says: This season is a lot of fun.
I say to wife:  I hope so.  Isn't that entirely what the show is about? 

My wife, during the credits:  Last season was terrible.

Me, during the credits:  Sounds like they re-recorded or remixed the theme song.  Why?

Me, during the episode:  This episode is terrible.

Yea. Really bad. But I'll be back next week.  I've never watched a show for so long where the main characters were such idiots.  How old are these dudes? Afraid to have their own places.
