Hey, everybody! I'm a longtime fan, and I've decided to come down.
I'll be coming into LaGuardia at 6:30 (couldn't get a flight into Newark). What's the best way for me to get to Jersey City?
Everything I read about the subway/PATH combo says that will take too long. Will I be able to get a cab to take me to Jersey City? How much would that be, approximately?
I know it's toward the end of rush hour - I also saw a suggestion to reserve a limo, but of course that's even more expensive than a cab.
Please - any advice for a non-NYC FOT would be very appreciated!
Can't wait to see everyone there.

A cab to Jersey City might be pretty hefty (you have to negotiate a rate with the cabbie before you get in), but you could do something like a cab from LGA to the PATH station and then go from there. Here's a good quote from tripadvisor:
"No flat fares from LGA. ~$35-40 depending on where you're going in Manhattan. There could be a long line but it moves quickly. Do NOT be tempted to take a ride from anyone who approaches you. All scams. If you want to be sure of a fixed price in case of bad traffic, you can order from car services like dial7.com"

See you all there!
