Title: Someone Needs Help With A Song I Played.

Hello all -

A young man wants help placing a song that I played during the Newbridge Debate show back in August of 2008. I think it's a Volcano Suns song by the looks of the lyrics but my head is tired. If you know the answer please tell the world now!

Here's what he quotes from the lyrics:

everyone needs a whipping boy at least thats what they told me when they gave me a job
i will be your idiot if you look into my eyes
i will be your laughing stock if you look into my eyes

Tom, you were halfway there.  It's "Village Idiot" by Volcano Suns, available on All Night Lotus Party.

I was going to say that but didn't hear the quote in the Amazon sample.  So I chickened oot.
