Title: KFC Double-Down
Post by: courtney on September 15, 2009, 12:21:37 AM: Remember when Patton Oswalt was in the studio a few weeks ago and someone from Nebraska called and told him about the KFC Double-Down sandwich? I, too, am from Nebraska and this is an honest-to-gosh food they're testing in these parts. A buddy of mine took one for the team and took video of the attempt to eat it:

He only ate the one bite and this dude eats pretty much anything.

Like when he picked the sandwich up, and there was, like, cheese or sauce oozing out of it and stuck to the wrapper, and it looked like gum someone had stepped in or something, and it was nasty. I did gag a little at that, and I said, "oh my god, no."

It could taste pretty darn good if it were made by a human being with some sense. But as a product developed and prepared by KFC, or any other fast food outlet? I doubt it.
