Title: What Song Is This Person Referring To?

A listener sent me this email the other day. I cannot for the life of me figure out what song she is referring to:

Hi Tom,
You played a song that I really liked on an episode but I forgot to write the name. It was a song called "Bring It" and I think the act was maybe from Tennessee or Kentucky. I remember looking up the artist and the record hadn't been released yet and I meant to write a reminder to myself to buy it when it did. If you remember, could you let me know? I went through a couple of the podcasts and got daunted.

Post by: dicebourbon on September 26, 2009, 04:53:19 PM: I agree it's the Reigning Sound. I think the song is spelled "Brake It". The band started out in Memphis, TN, and is now based in Asheville, NC.

Yeah, I'm dumb. "Brake It" doesn't make sense in terms of the lyrics.
