Title: WFMU Comments
Post by: Joe Rogaine on November 29, 2009, 05:03:20 AM
I know this is a dumb question but how do you comment during the WFMU shows? Im always hearing the djs talk about someone commenting but where?

It depends on which show you're listening to. Tom has a live chat thing going on during the Best Show. Evan Funk Davies has a comment thread that people can add to during the course of his show. Other deejays have ... ??? ... I don't know. Different setups. Look up WFMU's schedule, and from their you can see how various deejays handle listener feedback.

The playlists are updated in real time.

On most show pages, there is a box in the lower right hand corner of the page where you can post your comments.

Some DJs update their playlists in real time and others don't.  Also, not everyone allows live comments.  But if they do, it'll be on the playlist page.  Alternately, you can go to the WFMU home page and click where it says "now playing" and it'll take you to the playlist page of whatever is on at the moment -- unless the DJ isn't doing a live playlist, in which case I have no idea what happens.
