The scary part is that it's getting great reviews. Alls I know is I have it set to DVR but i may watch live.

Seagal was sweating pretty terribly in the last scene when he's "teaching" the other cadets. The guy is a bit of a slob.

I have to admit. Steven Seagal's hair was a big distraction for me. I couldn't stop staring at it. Is it a rug? Are those plugs creating that unnatural, Eddie Munster-like widow's peak? What shade hair dye is he using?
The highlight for me was when Steven looked miffed after a guy in cuffs in the back of a police car kicked out a window. Then one of the other cops walked up to the car and tasered the guy. Talk about shooting fish in a barrel! I bet that guy will think twice about doing that again ;)

I thought about Eddie Munster's widow's peak as well. Seagal is definitely going through a different sort of time in his life. He absolutely needs people to recognize him.
The kicking out of the window by said "criminal" was hilarious because Steven was sooo mad about it. "Oh man now I have to get one of my goons to hurt this guy. He shouldn't have made me mad..."

Did the premiere feature any of his amazing blues music? If not, then what a missed opportunity. Those who haven't heard the Lawman step behind a mic need to get to youtube and look up "Girl It's Allright" (I think that's what it's called.) No youtube at work or else I'd link it. I'm also anxious to see if he conducted any crimefighting dressed in one of those phoneybaloney fake monk robes that he wears sometimes.
Remember when Shaq was training to be a police detective or something? What ever happened with that?

The radio station I worked at in Atlanta a few years ago was going to have a free show with Seagal and his band Thunderbox... right around the time that Mojo Priest came out. Seagal pulled out at the last minute for "stomach problems". I think we got Jesse James Dupree to fill in.

In looking for videos of this show, I found the most disturbing thing one could make from Steven Seagal clips. The title is very misleading.

I never noticed the cool way Seagal had of carrying a knife before. I think it may even be cooler than the sideways gun. I will never carry a knife the same again.

The way you're referring to is typical in Filipino Kali-Escrima. I took it on and off for a couple of years and it's actually a lot of fun. After a particularly nasty lesson, our teacher would calmly say, "Remember, you didn't learn it here." Followed by nervous laughter from us.

I like that the action doesn't really go beyond Seagal yellng out the passenger's side window. Although the department IS pretty out of shape. Anything beyond a winded jog could potentially drop them.

How about that episode with the band? Steven Seagal is like a real life Buckaroo Banzai.

Despite the intriguing premise, I am finding this show surprisingly boring.
Plus I watched one where two guys got shot. Seagal et al showed up at the crime scene and I got the distinct feeling that Seagal had little to do with the crime scene efforts. The camera showed him a lot, but it felt like the had to do some fancy editing to make it seem like he was relevant. In reality, I suspect he was mostly on the sidelines.
