Pilot aired in the UK last week, it's on TheBox for UsersOfTheBox.

David Cross showed the first five minutes of the pilot when I saw him on his stand-up tour this fall. I really liked it and I guess I'll have to try downloading it.

Agreed; it's not good.  I don't know exactly how the British television system works - is the fact that the pilot is being aired now mean it's more or less likely to get a series order?

I believe it's part of some experimental comedy workshop. And as such it's not promised anything more than airtime for the pilot. Channel 4 show a bunch of pilots under the same banner (Comedy Showcase). So I guess there's still a theoretical chance of it being picked up, but I have a really hard time imagining why.

The pilot was incredibly disappointing. I'm done with David Cross, or rather, done with expecting him to be as funny for me as he was 15 years ago.

He did this when I saw him too. I thought what I saw was funny but couldn't imagine that premise going too far without getting lame.
