Back in 1992 I used to work in the A/V dept of the Waldorf Astoria. From time to time there would be special events that I would tape from the audio control room atop the Grand Ballroom. This one was a doosey.
It was NYC politico Andrew Stein's birthday party. The hired talent was Shirley MacLaine, Liza Minnelli, and Old Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra.
