I haven't watched any of it. Where should I start?

Thanks in advance, dorks.

Are you interested in the original series?  Or just the new incarnation?  If the latter, start at the beginning, with Christopher Eccleston's Who.

Watch the two parter the Impossible Planet and the Satan Pit, or the episode Blink for some really good science fiction.

But don't watch "Blink" for an introduction to the Doctor, since he's barely in it.

"The Empty Child"/"The Doctor Dances" two-parter in Eccleston's season is really good.

Echoing everyone... I agree, The Impossible Planet/Satan Pit is great. I haven't seen too much Eccleston, but the 2 part "The Empty Child"/"The Doctor Dances" are pretty good. It's also the introduction to Captain Jack.

"Silence In the Library"/"Forest Of The Dead" are great David Tennant episodes.

I love how they have to be writing backwards in these. Moffat thought, "I want them to be chased through a library by an empty spacesuit with a skull floating in it. How can I get there?" And he MAKES IT HAPPEN.

Girl in the Fireplace is good, too. Midnight was surprisingly good.
