God bless him. That said, what a terrible list.
-
Im looking forward to when he quits doing film and starts his film critic career.
-
I sort of love that he put Friday on the list.
-
Looks like he's another sucker for Fight Club.
-
I have to say that if you haven't seen Memories of Murder, you should. He nailed it with that one.
-
I thought it was universally regarded that he is kinda a blundering oaf who happens to make good movies once in a blue moon. I'm not sure why somebody asked him to do this but it kinda proved everything I thought about the guy.
That said Inglorious Bastards is probably the coolest movie ever.
-
This will cause a bunch of auteurist cinephiles to re-evaluate tons of shit movies, that's for sure.

There are still plenty of folks who slobber over every scrap of garbage that falls out of his dumb mouth. Try reading the Filmspotting forum (or listening to the hosts).

Yeah i dont get it either i think the words that were used were "Inglorious Bastards made me jump out of my seat and say i cant believe he did that". Really did it.

Has anyone seen the episode of Iconoclasts that he was on with Fiona Apple? An pairing of two of the most creepily awkward humans ever! That last sentence was clearly an exaggeration but still... weird.

Yeah it makes you wonder if he ever thought about doing a Batman movie.

Tarantino wants to make a slavery themed spaghetti western:
"I'd like to do a Western. But rather than set it in Texas, have it in slavery times. With that subject that everybody is afraid to deal with. Let's shine that light on ourselves. You could do a ponderous history lesson of slaves escaping on the Underground Railroad. Or, you could make a movie that would be exciting. Do it as an adventure. A spaghetti Western that takes place during that time. And I would call it 'A Southern.'"
He could probably (maybe) make it entertaining, but I still want to punch him in the face while reading that.

As a Southerner, nothing would please me more than to see Quentin Tarantino's totally fraudulent, wrong-headed version of What The South Is Like. I would be first in line.

Well he supposedly wants to do a slave underground railroad type western but you know how that goes.

You know he would get it right.....he's from Knoxville!

He's also part Native American.
Custer's Last Mexican Standoff?
-
As long as he doesn't have a long scene where he keeps talking about "storage" and such. John Mayer has to be outraged about how QT got away with that.

Well to be fair he got away with it in a movie in the 90s. Jon Mayer just said it in 2010, which is way crazier. Thought I would never say this, but that man is more inept than Quintin Terantino.

Did Jon Mayer make disparaging remarks against the Pods company?
