I just want to make it so that comments on a Drupal blog are only shown if you click "show comments." And I'd like to do it without having to install a bunch of weird modules or anything.
That's it! But I'm at a loss here.

Isn't that controlled under site preferences or something? I don't use Drupal but I use Wordpress and usually that's not a coding thing, it's a setting in the admin somewhere. Is there a comments admin?
Wordpress is pretty awesome, though ;)

It's not in any of the settings in the admin area. Drupal has a shitload of modules and stuff and is mega-customizable, so it's definitely possible.
I just have Drupal 5, though. Maybe it's a default setting in 6 or 7.
I hate that we have our own server but not our own IT guy yet. Bad news, jack.

I genuinely thought Drupal was a man you were looking for, for a second. Tech-dumb!

Me too! DruPal's drag race.
