I always wondered why there were so many deaths in Powaqqatsi.

...and Barfly.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2."  Well done, Misters Golan and Globus.  You backed a winner with that one.

There's something very Trent L. Strauss-ish about Who Killed Mary What's 'Er Name?

I love that movie too ... I just cut and pasted the list from wikipedia, so who knows how accurate it is.

Fanny and Alexander is missing, for one thing.

Also, I wish this had been a poll.   :'(

Yabbut what would that poll be? The craziest? The dumbest? Even the not-terrible movies on that list are bad.

I stand corrected:  a series of polls.

Edit: I just noticed John Cassavettes' Love Streams on this list!

My favorite of the franchise. I watched this the evening before my daughter was born (7pm = movie, 3 am = kid).

I have seen at least half of these in their MST3K incarnations.

And now I know how to thank for bestowing the comedy meme [BLANK] 2: Electric Boogaloo on the world

I like how the American Ninja series went to Roman numerals at the fifth one.

I had to cover my eyes during the final shootout in Little Dorrit.

The obvious question: did you name her Stretch?

I've only seen 20 of the films on that list.  And if this was a poll I would vote for Death Wish 3.

Death Wish II is one of the sleaziest and most insipid films ever made. It's just awful.

It is pretty bad although I did like Vincent Gardenia's character in it, but he's always great.  Too bad he got killed off so soon.

That's a good point. Gardenia did turn in a solid performance. So did Laurence Fishburne for that matter.

Don't forget Jimmy Page.   :D

I agree. But as a teen, I watched it a lot.  Total peer pressure.  My friends said "Hey man. It's cool because Jimmy Page does the music."  I bought into that and convinced myself it was good.

Superman IV: The Quest For Peas is by no means the best superhero movie ever made, but it's damn near the most entertaining. There's a great article on the Onion's AV Club about it...

http://www.avclub.com/articles/its-a-bird-its-a-plane-its-a-franchisekilling-case,2560/

I watched King Solomon's Mine's in the theater as a kid and even thought it was terrible as a 10-year old who would watch anything. I saw Alan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold sitting on a shelf in Blockbuster once and wondered who in the world would have wanted to run with that failed franchise. I did not yet know what this thing called Golan Globus was willing to wrought upon the world. I think I'm going to Netflix that and report back to HQ.

Has anyone here seen Masters of the Universe? If so, what did you think of it?

I saw it back in the days of Star Trek: Voyager, and since it had Tom Paris, I thought it was perfect.

Also, two of the more unbelievable Stallone movies are on here: Cobra & Over the Top.

Cobra - banned in Sweden! I remember watching it on crummy bootlegs.

I saw it when it came out. Can't remember how old I was, but I remember really not liking it.
