He seems to be channeling Alan Partridge? I don't follow British politics closely, so not sure if this necessarily news.

Plus, would love to hear Malcolm Tucker's take on this as well.

Check the Guardian this weekend. Malcolm Tucker has been doing a series of columns for them during the campaign (for real).
