About a year or so ago, I listened to both "Silver Apples" and "Contact." I didn't think either album was all that great. Although, there isn't any question that they were ahead of their time.

Years ago I foolishly shrugged off a chance to see a Godspeed You Black Emperor!/Silver Apples double bill, and that remains one of my biggest missed-show regrets.
