Look at this Friendly's monstrosity, which out does KFC's Double Down in all the nutritional stats.

I also like the ramekin of mayo next to the sandwich - nice touch.

That is not a toothpick on top. That is a small dispensable audio chip/speaker - FDA mandated - playing a surgeon general's warning on infinite loop.

Why do you get to call it one sandwich if it's clearly two different sandwiches with the ingredients for a third sandwich between them. That's like if I said, "Hey, check out my car!" and it's the chassis of a Honda between two functioning Buicks (of your choice!).

Also seems to be following the Double Down blueprint for unwieldiness and lack of structural integrity. Probably best not to eat this thing while driving.

The Double Down was completely believable to me, but I saw this on TV the other day and just couldn't even figure out what to say.

So it turns out I have friends who've made this before. On purpose. In their own houses.

They couldn't figure out why I was mad at this sandwich.


I just looked at them blankly with my black eyes (see my "wear a bike helmet" thread for reference).


So they laughed. 

So now I'm even madder at this sandwich.
