Or did they take the idea from him?

It took me a minute before I realized that the "4 soft-pretzels, 12 TastyKakes, and 2-dozen Peanut Chews" weren't actually part of the sandwich.

Nothing in the rules says you can't put it all in the sandwich

On another note—I have never been to a city so proud of shoving meat into its face. The loyalty to sandwiches is really almost touching. I did not get out to Gino's or Pat's or Jim's for a cheesesteak. Instead I went to this place called DeNic's in Reading Market for a Roast Pork sandwich with broccoli rabe on it. WTF! How did I not know about this sandwich? Not only did they have the roast pork but they had Italian-style pulled pork and brisket. Damn. I ordered one of each and sat there with three massive sandwiches and no one stepped in to stop what must have looked like an attempted suicide by meat. It was awesome. I am having a bit of pig withdrawal now. Sweating it out on the plane.
