Well, sort of. It's a website, and I made it with a bunch of other really awesome people. Still, I'm super proud of it - I've been working on it for a really long time, and I think it's turned out pretty well.
It's an online literary magazine for "unpublishable literature" - stories and poems that got cut or killed or rejected from other magazines, but that are good enough that we felt like they should have a place somewhere. It's a really weird mix of work and contributors - probably the only place you can find stuff by Helen DeWitt and Sheila Heti next to a rap by a guy called Oldskool Toadstool - but I think it works (sort of).
Anyway, it's over here if you're interested: http://incongruousquarterly.com/ (http://incongruousquarterly.com/).
Sorry for the boring post. You guys are the nicest/coolest bunch of internet people I know, which is why I want you to read it. </boring sincerity>

Really like the concept. No longer "unpublishable" once published.

Nice!
Sheila Heti is great. I really like that blog of Hillary Clinton/Barack Obama dreams she did in 2008. And the Kill Fee section has some serious heavy hitters in it.

So the second issue is out now, and I'm super super proud of it. A very weird but awesome mix of poetry and fiction, PLUS a music section that features nine "unpublishable" tracks from a bunch of very different artists. Holy Fuck made us a 7-minute sound collage out of stuff they've recorded on tour on their iphones, Amy Klein (you may know her as the extremely badass guitarist from Titus Andonicus) gave us a beautiful solo recording, Jasmyn Burke from RatTail recorded a poem over voicemail for us - I could go on, but you should probably just go look at it. I know I'm biased, but I think it's pretty cool.
