I'm awestruck.
-
Amazing work.
-
That is really crazy to see in a full list!
(Terrence from Billyburg mentioned Fribble and Sherman Helmsley Must Live No Die and a few others too)
-
Wow, great list.
Two others:
Flock of Sea Gals
Dawn (not Don) Henley
-
Woodsy.
-
Just remembered two more: Maurice Kern once discussed Shanya Twain and Alabammy.
-
Mini Skrewdriver, damn we need to get the FOTpedia going again.
-
Quazar
Played at Tom's High School Prom, Troy Dershman's wedding and (many years later) at a resort in the Bahamas where Barry Levitz was staying.
-
We Are Dinosaurs NOW! was a good one
-
Barry Dworkin mentioned his dad managing bands like:
Jester
Paragon Paradox
RobotFace
Other Dworkin related bands:
Dworkin's Tribe
The Gas Station Dogs Minus Barry Dworkin
-
The Summers-Thomas Doohickey.
And the Smiths tribute bands These Charming Men and the Cemetery Gates.
-
why do I remember there being more toilet rock bands than that
-
why do I remember there being more toilet rock bands than that
There were more. The others were The Stench, The Snot, Beat Off, and Mr. Wilson's Crotch.
-
Remember Cereal.
-
Listening to this week's Best Show Gems I thought Wurster really out did himself with what had to be the best "bad" fake album title I had ever heard in my life. Then I Wiki-ed it and found out that Limp Bizkit really did put out an album called "Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water."
-
Having been on a Darren Call kick lately, I'll add:
Chevy Chase Movie Bands:
The Spackler-Smails Alliance (Darren's band as of summer 07)
Cinderella Story (Rival Caddyshack band)
The Dr. Cocktostins (Rival Fletch band)
-
these pretzels are making me thirsty
Practice?.........We talking about PRACTICE?
-
My favorite is Abbott and Skastello meet Skankenstein.
-
Some more bands that Rick Spangler worked on:
His Light (Christian band who hated Rick)
Wehrmacht (I'm not entirely sure this isn't a real band)
Sgt. Hulka's Revenge (album: "I Don't Know What Kind of Stunt You Guys Pulled At Graduation...")
Ok, Mr. Pushups (album: "I Got A Hell Of A Sense Of Humor, Ain't I, Corporal?")
Carp ADM (another Andy from NB band)
McCain Youth On Ice (one of Hammerhead's bands)
Bob Timmons/Bob Timmons Band/Bob Timmons Group/Bob Timmons and the Bibles/Bob Timmons and the Satanic Bibles/Bob Timmons and the Buckaroo 5/4/3/2/1/Buckaroo Featuring Bob Timmons
-
In the call, "Tom's Daddy," Roger Scharpling mentions that Tom's "brother" Sean has a new band called "Kryptonite."
-
Sherman Hemsley must live... NO, DIE!
