Hi all- I'm a long-time Best Show fan, but mostly just lurk here... Anyhow, I produced a video interview with Jon Wurster that I thought you guys might be interested in...

He's really quite handsome, I must admit.

This was a great interview. Well done.

That was very interesting, really enjoyed it.
-
very nice. i like the concept a lot.

Finally listened to this. I like the format. Thanks for posting.
One question I'd love to task Jon: From where does he do most of his calls and on what kind of phone?
I'm continually impressed by S&W's luck in rarely having a bad connection and never suffering an awkward moment where some friend or family member starts asking in the background when Jon's going to hangup, or why he's been screaming so much.

This was amazing, thanks for posting!

That was great. So nice to see an interview that doesn't rehash what we've all seen, heard, or read in a Scharpling and/ Or Wurster interview before.
-
Very nice job.
-
so good.
-
lemme wiki that.
-
Great interview. How awesome. JW is just a little cutie, isn't he?

a)I really enjoyed the Wikipedia interview.
b)I too did an interview with JW, for Aesop Rock's 900 Bats website. We discussed the 'Springsteen call', Husker Du and some other things...

Has the Mould/Daily Show tidbit ever made it into a call?

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! If you're interested Superchunk's appearance on Sound Opinions is now online as well. They talk with Wurster about The Best Show for a few minutes (including a snippet from "Rock, Rot or Rule") around the 14 minute mark.

For what it's worth.
You're famous to me. But, I don't follow mainstream culture.
I feel more interested in reading something when I see your name attached to it than I do when I see Kanye's.

Who hasn't bought drugs from Steve Albini?
