Title: Bad year for talent
Post by: yesno on December 29, 2010, 12:16:19 PM
Denis Dutton died yesterday. His website, Arts & Letters daily, has been a part of my daily routine for more than ten years.  I didn't agree with all of his ideas, but he was open-minded in interviews, and I feel like I knew the guy.

Also, no one really mentioned it on this board, but Peter Christopherson (Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Hipgnosis) died recently, too.  This is a somewhat recent video he made for his 1986 song, Ostia (the Death of Pasolini):

Was never an avid Coil/TG listener, but I always admired Christopherson's desire to innovate, and experiment with new musical forms.

RIP
