Title: did I dream this?

there was a sitcom about vampires in the early 80s.  I can't find any information about it anywhere!  I only saw about 10 minutes of it because they made a "you suck" joke and my mom was so horrified she changed the channel.  never saw or heard of this show again.  The internet has let me down, so I turn to you, FOTs.

Right up there with "defenestrated," as in "He was defenestrated and exsanguinated."
