I like how the bottom of the boots don't even look like feet. They're just misshapen lumps inside gold lamé.

Those "boots" do kinda look like mylar balloons. Maybe because that are mylar balloons. They'd look awesome inflated on his feet.

That does look like Dennis from Sunny. If I remember right he was the Bowie--esque character in their band-right?

Definitely a high point for that show. That and the musical.
