Whenever I listen to the marathons, there are always a couple of Roanoke, VA pledges. I live and work here, but unless you have an FOT or WFMU shirt on, it will be difficult to spot you.
Sadly, there isn't a Bandito Burrito to meet up with you guys at, but it would be nice to know you exist.

Oh wow. I live in Roanoke. I've been here for about a year and a half. I hate to say that I'm getting ready to move back to Richmond though. But it is nice to know there is a fellow FOT here.

I lived there for three months in 2009 when I was teaching at Hollins. I actually taught a radio play class and assigned a Scharpling and Wurster CD to the students -- Art of the Slap, I think. I'd come back if they asked, but don't wait up for me or anything.

What did they think of the CD?

They liked it.

I guess for the time being, I will need to be content to be alone with fandom. Until another one of you moves here.
