There are not many good Toms out there. Tom knows this, and that's what his pastor urges him to be the Tom that will be the best Tom in the Tomiverse.

He said in an interview that he does really like Radiohead, mentioning them with Robert Wyatt. Curiously, I don't ever remember him playing them.

He definitely had during the earlier days. Kid A was the first unfair record review.

I have no view on the shoes, and I'm not going to shit on anything that helps poor kids, but if things had gone slightly differently this guy easily could have been an arms dealer or professional poker player or something.
