Oh Improv Everywhere. Either this is a brilliant tongue-in-cheek April Fools joke or proof of what plenty of people have been saying about these pranksters.

I feel annoyed at myself for even posting this.

seems totally fake
-
It seems like they're trying to start an Epic-Beard-Man-esque meme to get publicity. Thumbs down, obviously.
-
Let me correct myself: nothing about this is *brilliant*
-
Even worse than Improv Everywhere -> their fake April Fool's Stunts :'(
-
oh man I hope so much this is fake and it ends up with them in crazy legal trouble with their fake tough dude actors getting assault charges and them having to try to explain to the police and judge that it's all a big "hilarious" prank. then they all get tossed in the slammer.
-
I want it to be real, with charges brought, only to have a judge throw the case out of court because who wouldn't want to smack Jar-Jar Binks around?
-
actually I don't care if it's real or fake, what I really want is for Lucasfilm to sue them for copyright infringement.
-
Now we know what off duty stormtroopers look like.

Hahahahahahahahaha - the headline on this story at Topless Robot reads:
The NY Subway System Is Turrible Bombad Dangerous, Meesa Thinks (http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/04/the_ny_subway_system_is_turrible_bombad_dangerous.php)

Those "tough guys" are terrible actors.

Yes, they are.
I really hope IE gets in trouble when people take this seriously and file police reports against the terrible actors.

Jar Jar Subway Car: April Fool’s
Posted on April 1, 2011 by Charlie
If you haven’t figured it out by now, the Jar Jar Subway Car “mission gone wrong” was faked for April Fool’s Day. The three guys who “attacked” our actor in the Jar Jar Binks costume were actually our friends from The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Everything was completely staged, and everyone on the train was told what was going on beforehand.
On Monday we’ll post a behind-the-scenes video that will show how the fake mission came together, as well as some funny outtakes. Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you won’t miss it.
As with the Best Funeral Ever and the No Underwear Subway Ride, more than a few people were outraged over this video. In order to prevent people from spoiling the joke, I disabled comments on the post on our site, but don’t worry, there are hundreds of comments you can read on our Facebook page.

Oh boy! I wondered what I was going to do this afternoon. Thanks, shitbags.

I thought this was going to be about the Charlie Sheen tour.

I totally did too!

Improv Everywhere is garbage...and this is a new low

I was trying to figure out if you'd all cracked the case in this thread, but in case it's still up in the air, I saw 1 of the trio a few months ago doing comedy out here in L.A. with his Police show. http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/2455 (http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/2455)
So, fake it is!

I gotta say, that's a prrrreeetty original idea for an improv show. Idiot cops?! Why didn't I think of that?
