KL-101 / How To Play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etm54u7MA3A#ws)
I'm calling my team the Kro-Numbskulls.

Whoa, I think this is the sport I would have been trying to invent when I was ten, except maybe the goalie had spring shoes or a bat or something as I imagined it. I would so watch this on TV. I only wish it had been around in the early '90s so there could have been an MTV Rock 'n Jock Kronum Jam. Hammer, Dan Cortese and (surprisingly) Sam Kinison probably would have dominated.
Also, my team will be the Kro-nems.

This is AWESOME. I would 100% play this game all of the time, even though the rules are kinda complicated. It kind of reminds me a bit of Team Handball, which I'm obsessed with every Olympics. Team Handball would be a national pastime if we played it here.
Also, are you guys familiar with this sport? It's called Calcio Fiorentino. They play it once or twice a year in Fiorence in Italy. This is the sport of our dystopian future. There are two teams, each with 27 members. The goal is to take the ball and put it in the net on the other side (which runs the width of the field). And you can do ANYTHING to do that. The opening few minutes is essentially Italian maniacs punching each other in the face. It is my goal in life to see this in person.

Vaguely reminiscent of 43-Man Squamish

This looks like it would need a team of accountants and physicists on the sidelines to keep score of who's done what and when. I approve.

This actually is around Philly somewhere. You can even hear the accent in the narration. I hope Philly Boy Roy invested all his money in this sport.

It's the new whirlyball!
