I'm going to assume a lot of forum readers regularly check the AV Club, but just in case there are some who don't, the site features an interview with Tom today:

You have to, uh, admit: no one else talks about what Gene Simmons talks about in interviews.

Wow, he must have one of those OliverSacks-type extreme neural malfunctions -- a condition where he stares into a mirror and sees ... something completely different from what everybody else sees.

There's a reason that dude wore all that facepaint for a couple of decades.

Wow, great interview.  And excellent insight into just about all facets of TBS, and even the Wurster Collaboration and Newbridgiverse. Tom also seemed to be in a good mood.

I did cringe, though, when he got a little political.

Actually, wait -- scratch that. I'd rather Tom get *more* political. I find that when he keeps it short it just comes across as Typical Internet Lefty Boilerplate. And I know his views are far deeper, funnier, and more nuanced than that.
