Yes, racist.
Chief Noc-a-Homa, though, not racist.
-
I don't know if the logo is racist in a malevolent sense. It's certainly not racially sensitive though.

I see some of my students wearing this hat in Korea, and I just cringe every time I see it. I got used to dbs wearing in the states. But it's an international franchise. It is just disgusting.

I knew Chris Stamey had his problems with the Native Peoples, but I expected better of Peter Holsapple.

Whats worse? The Indians logo or the Redskins name? If only we could combine the two teams as well as the logo and name. Armed with bats, Washington might actually be able to win a few games.
-
I voted not racist on the Indians logo, because I like to pretend it's a picture of Jamie Farr.

That's very perceptive, Wes. Chief Wahoo does in fact look like Jamie Farr.

The resemblance is uncanny.

Great Ohioans both.

The Atlanta Braves are more racist. Or at least their fans are. That stupid-ass chant they do over and over and over, and the tomahawk-chop gesture. They make the Cleveland Indians look downright sensitive by comparison.
