I finally got off my ass and listened to last weeks show, and the early comment about how Tom wanted to "get into the occult" stuck with me. So I did this just a few minutes ago:

"It worked for Jimmy Page..."

Haha! It's good! (But I do have the urge to way "winning!" when I look at it.)

This is great! Nice line work.

Another one...

Making it made me realize, a The Best Show fighting game would be awesome as all get out.
-
My favorite part of that call was that we learned Milt in the Morning also has a guy who calls in and does characters, but all the voices sound the same.
I felt like the Newbridgverse was about to collapse on itself.

I will be disappointed if I can never fight as the Gorch against my friend's Rick Spangler.

I'm doing a quick brainstorm as to whom would be Tom's greatest foe, like a boss at the end of the game. The best I could think of would be the Zodiac Killer. He'd jump out of the Hudson and the epic battle would commence. Didn't Tom say he'd fight him on a clock tower, or something? That's where the fight could end up. Ideas.

I know it's kind of obvious, but a revised version of the artwork inside IV with Tom replacing the wizard would be amusing. Can anyone make this happen?

The Colgate Clock would definitely have to be a stage, complete with a fatality where you could impale an opponent on the clock. The Zodiac Killer could be a hidden opponent who would either pop up randomly or you'd have to unlock through mysterious means like in the original Mortal Kombat.
I think I'd rather see a Final Fight/Double Dragon/Streets of Rage-esque beat 'em up game set in Newbridge. That was the idea I had in mind with the World War Gorch entries during the fanfic contest.

I was talking with my friend last night.
Some locales:
Out Behind The Lady Footlocker
Muffler Row
The Pit
Williamsburg
The Roof Of WFMU Station
The Escalators At Exchange Place Station
People:
Gorch
Hot Rockin' Ronnie
Power Pop Pop Pop
Mike Sajak
Philly Boy Roy (Possible "Special Move" calls in Philly Fanatic?)
AP Mike
Basically any character that has threatened Tom
Fredricks
-
"Tom Scharpling presents: Street Tuffs!"
I wanna play this. Esp. if "Mouse w/a Cape" is an unlockable character.
-
The Shank and Giorgio The Human Carpet should be in this thing too

Love these locales. You know how sometimes at the end of levels, there'd be a bonus level to gain points or get extra lives? This could take place in a Starbucks, and every time somebody started talking loudly or drinking from a Dunkin' Donuts cup, Tom could eliminate them for extra-life opportunities.
I'd pay top dollar for this game, especially after reading all your ideas.

Re: Tom's greatest foe
Well, technically it's The Brusher or Brush Man.
But I'd say it's gotta be either Hot Rockin' Ronnie, PBR, or possibly one Darren Ploppleton.
As something of a Darren apologist, my argument is that while he is Tom's best friend in Newbridge, he's also tried to murder Tom by having him bronzed alive inside a giant cardboard box. The Plopptron 5000 has also stolen Tom's promotion, sent a nasty email to Old Man Dalrymple from Tom's account, shot Tom's car into a quarry, and threatened to barge Dom.
-
If it is a Streets Of Rage esque beat-em-up, I see the playable characters as beeing Tom, Mike and PBR. Tom's special move is a GOMP, where he places the bad guy on a phone then slaps them off screen. PBR will take a bad guy inbetween two pieces of bread and treat em like a hoagie. I'm not sure what Mike's special attack should be, maybe drinking a lot?
I think there should be different powerups based on guests of the show, the PFT powerup has Paul run through the screen looking for good Barbeque restaurants and in effect knocking all the bad guys over. The Spike powerup has Spike's laugh temporarily stun all the enemies while they cover their ears. Laurie from Miami comes on screen pulls out a cell phone, calls Doddy and a giant bag of money falls out of the sky crushing someone. Sometimes though you'll get a Mouse With A Cape powerup, which actually stuns the player by making him laugh.
I think the central enemies of the game should be SCUM Force, the vigilante squad composed of Fredericks, Larry Da Perv and a couple other folks (sorry my memory is hazy). They've come to Newbridge, drugged the residents and turned them into a bunch of slaves ready to do their bidding. The only people out of town at the time were Tom and Mike (because they were doing the show) and Mayor Ziggler (cause Philly rules) and so these three form an alliance to save the town. Too bad our heroes have to take down an entire belt-whipping league, the Zodiac Killer, the boys at the Zieben Under El (I don't know if I spelled that right), Magic Todd Manheim and the Newbridge basketball team, Roy Jr, the employees of consolidated cardboard, and the faces of Massa's tavern.

Also sometimes known as "Sieben und der Elf" or "Der Sieben und der Elf," and I think I remember "Das Sieben und der Elf."

Thousand Fights needs to be a boss too

I took five years of German and I'm still not sure which one of those Wurster-ations is correct.

From Three Tom shows ago, when Tom created lyrics for the two instrumentals on Pet Sounds:

From Two Tom shows ago, when Tom mentioned his bike gang, which consisted of Tom and a band of Demons, driving Priuses:

These are great, the Pet Sounds one especially!

Is that horse the Chestnut Mare, and is Tom checking for armpit odor before trying to "give her his brand"?

One horse appears to be applying deodorant to Tom with its tongue.
