I just won an eBay auction for a bunch of records by 25 cents.  A large lot of good records, for about 3 dollars a record.  But this means that my maximum bid, which I put in during the last 20 seconds of bidding, was only 25 cents higher than the previous maximum bid.  Flawless victory.
