Also, it looks like the new Batman has multiple villains. This is almost always a bad sign. The only time it ever worked was on the "Batman" tv show where you had The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman (the Julie Newmar version) and The Riddler (The superior Frank Gorshin Riddler, not the inferior John Astin version)....

It didn't work that well there either--have you tried to watch any of those shows recently?

DVD Release I am looking forward to in 2012:Like the scene where Dennis Hooper and Isabella Rossellini crack up after Hopper yells "baby wants to fuck"?

ON THE ROAD. I wouldn't say I'm excited, but I am looking forward to finally seeing a big screen version. I mean, I've only been waiting 20 years. And Viggo Mortensen as the William S. Burroughs? That will probably either make or break the movie for me.

Ugh... I fucking hated that book...

What an engaging conversation we're having.
I'm mostly curious to see the exact moment of the film where Lincolnearnseats his beard.

Oh dear. Warning: NSFW. Also warning: this looks like one of the worst movies of all time.
Did Marky Mark ever apologize for that whole racial beating thing?

This is already out On Demand. Totally watching this tonight.
I saw God Bless America at the Toronto Film Fest last year and I was disappointed. It's very well made but I didn't find it funny, and the satirical targets are blindingly obvious. But on the other hand it's clearly heartfelt and personal, and I got to see the Bobcat Q&A. He's a cool guy.
I should say that I have a feeling I'm in the minority on this one -- it very well could be Goldthwait's breakout as a director.
Omar speaks the truth.
The script contains far too much witless Robert ranting via the mouths of the two leads, but Joel Murray (sadly, there are no Freddy Rumsen-style zipper symphonies) and Tara Lynne Barr are both excellent. Robert continues to evolve as a visual filmmaker at a shockingly rapid rate. This bodes well for his adaptation of The Kinks's Schoolboys In Disgrace.
DO IT!!!!!!!Omar speaks the truth.
I'm considering establishing a tumbler micro weblog called The Truth According to Omar. No falsehoods allowed!

I'm super excited to not see Ted. That movie's getting really good reviews but looks like the worst piece of garbage. "Mom, that teddy bear is making fun of Jews!" I kind of actually want to see it so I have something to make fun of for a few years but the thought of handing any of my money over to the trash who put that together grosses me out. I think I'd rather just burn money.
