Tom is doing a new podcast w/ the great Daniel Ralston (who was on the last show Hatch hosted as well as The Holding Court Podcast) and Maggie "Maggie From Brooklyn/Queen of the Hashtag" Serrota. They're interviewing musicians and getting into some personal/sillier material.

The first episode is GREAT. They interview Janet Weiss from Wild Flag/Sleater Kinney, the dude from Casio Tone (who is now under the name Advance Base) and someone from Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (whom I'm not familar with, which probably shows my ignorance.)

It's going to be predictably great.

I thought this was going to be about SAD, but I am very excited for this podcast as well.

Man, this podcast was fantastic!!!!! Can't wait for the second episode. I've always had a little indie rock crush on Janet Weiss. She's great. Saw her with Elliott Smith quite a few times in '99.

I loved Tom's interview but tuned out when I heard the second interviewee say "cassingles."

I loved Maggie's interview with Catherine Popper. She totally should have taken willie nelson home.

I could rave on but I'll just say that I like this podcast very much.
