I did an interview with AP Mike: http://www.ploplist.com/blog/2012/1/10/live-everyday-like-its-ap-mike-day.html (http://www.ploplist.com/blog/2012/1/10/live-everyday-like-its-ap-mike-day.html)

This is great--thanks for sharing.
I really love this response:
Mike: That was the first time I was involved with one of Tom and Jon's routines (Tom is going to hate that word "routine," please leave it).

Can you share with us the deleted parts where Mike talks about how Tom is the puppet and he, Mike, is the puppet master?

Haha, no such content exists. Mike seemed to be, first and foremost, a big fan of The Best Show and Tom.

This is terrific read. I always get a kick out of when Mike talks about the old Kevin Smith/View Askew boards because I knew him there from back in the day (he was mostly nice to me, I think).
-
What went on at those boards? Was Mike just a troll, or was he a fan? This sounds like a dark time for all involved.

Nah, I think he busted people's chops a little and was a tough critic, but I never got the troll-vibe at all. I think it was all in internet fun.

That's still great. I've never felt remotely passionate enough about Kevin Smith one way or the other to go on his sites and discuss his "films."
Oh, wait, I used to like his one site, MoviePoopShoot (ugh...) when it had that Comics 101 column. That was good.
